“Four Divine Decrees of Allah upon the Envious, and the Homes of Ahmad’s Followers Left Untouched by the Flood in Aceh.”

Prophet Khidr (AS) came to me and said:

“O Ahmad, truly in my dream I saw a great rumbling and waves drawing near to you. I saw you standing behind a wall that could never withstand such waves and thunder. I became deeply concerned for your state in my dream, until I awoke and prostrated myself, seeking Allah’s protection for you and for myself.

O Ahmad, no one bears the sins of another, except the sins that one seizes and carries upon oneself on the Day of Reckoning, for certain reasons:

  • Because of unpaid debts;
  • Because of slander;
  • Because of engaging in backbiting and tale-bearing;
  •  Because of unjustly consuming the rights of one’s brother.
  • There are even sins caused by animals kept by humans — when one neglects to feed them until they suffer hunger in their cages, some even dying due to human negligence. There are also sins when animals disturb others or consume what belongs to others.

Indeed, Allah is the Most Protecting and the Most Wise, who created animals to fulfil human needs. There is nothing that Allah has created in this world in vain.

O Ahmad, truly division will occur upon the land of the stolen Muqaddasah. They will strike one another and bring each other down. There is no division in this world except when a person is afflicted with envy (hasad), and the envious one seeks companions of envy in order to destroy one another. Do you know what hasad is? Hasad is the trait of Iblis, may Allah curse him. Hasad is the source of all diseases of the heart, the destruction of the intellect, the extinguishing of the light of Allah’s knowledge, and the severing of the light of the Noble Messenger Muhammad within the hearts of those who practise envy. Truly, the punishment in this world and the Hereafter for those who harbour envy is exceedingly painful.

Allah will inflict three punishments in this world and one punishment in the Hereafter.

1.    In this world, the envious person walks as though towards a deep and narrow pit, until they are unable to escape from it.

2.    Then Allah places a cover over them, so that they are unable to see — even unable to see their own hands.

3.    Lastly, they will feel the harshness of the Angel of Death as their soul is taken, like uprooting an old and mighty date palm from the earth.

4.    After that, Allah will not accept their repentance until the Day of Reckoning, and they will not be able to defend themselves within the blazing Hellfire —
except if they repent while still in this world, fulfilling all the conditions of true repentance.

Allah is the Most Forgiving, and yet Severe in His punishment.

O Ahmad, truly I have heard the supplication and hope of a woman upon your vessel, and I have visited that land. I saw the traces of a well whose water was once clear in the past, which you will one day dig again, and its water will never run dry — full of benefit and purity. Truly, your Noble Grandfather Muhammad loves it. That land will one day become a place where the descendants of your followers gather, pouring out love and brotherhood among themselves. You must establish just and righteous regulations upon that land.

Your Noble Grandfather Muhammad conveyed to me in my dream last night: the dream of waves and thunder is part of the trials and tribulations that will come upon you. Then the Noble One said, ‘O my brother Balya, there is no ownership right for my grandson Ahmad over that land except to establish just laws and true governance upon it. Neither do his wives nor his descendants have ownership over it until the Day of Resurrection. Truly, the land belongs to Allah, and I have placed my love upon it, so that Allah may allow me to witness the happiness of my Ummah meeting upon Ahmad’s vessel on that land — filled with love and mercy, greeting one another with smiles, sharing, and becoming servants of Allah who help one another in goodness.’

O Ahmad, the people of that land must help one another to develop agriculture and all that I have taught you. Build houses and a surau as a sign, according to the structure I will show you upon my turban. There is no compulsion of time in building it. Make it a place of consultation, learning, and teaching the Qur’an and the laws of the Shariah. Truly, Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, has commanded me to visit it and to perform qiyam al-layl at a time known only to Allah and myself.

However, your followers must not elevate me beyond proper bounds in that place.Rather, glorify Allah through remembrance (dhikrullah) and send blessings upon the Messenger of Allah (salawat). That is more virtuous, brings greater reward, and brings blessings upon their land — such that there will be no tremors, storms, or rains that bring calamity to that place. Truly, the name of its owner already exists upon my turban. Their heart will not remain empty, for Allah will fill it with the light of tranquillity and blessings.

O Ahmad, the people upon your vessel must not turn their backs on one another in setting prices within trade. Do they not understand that I and your three brothers came and taught you justice in commerce? Even the opinion of your first wife aligns with ours. Let the leaders in trade follow the wisdom of your first wife in certain matters, and let your two companions who lead commerce formulate decisions with justice and wisdom, without rejecting what has been collectively decided. This is like Sayyidah Khadijah with Sayyidina Uthman and Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, who upheld market wisdom in earlier times.

Your Noble Grandfather did not personally fix prices in trade; rather, he entrusted such matters to Sayyidah Khadijah and companions such as Uthman ibn Affan, Abdurrahman ibn Awf, Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, and Zubair ibn Al-Awwam. Do you know…. They upheld the laws and path revealed by Allah to your Noble Grandfather Muhammad. He praised their honesty, trustworthiness, and generosity. He did not intervene in commercial matters unless injustice occurred or until the companions had fully deliberated. This is better for you and the leaders upon your vessel to practise. Truly, Iblis never rests in corrupting hearts and diverting intentions. Therefore, you and your followers must be cautious and reflective.

O Ahmad, are they blind and deaf? Truly, in every disaster, Allah truly protects your followers — even when floods came, only the houses of your followers and nine others remained standing. Even small trees were not destroyed by the great flood. The tremors in the land of your companion were barely felt by your followers. And Allah protected your daughter from a major earthquake in Taiwan, even while she was inside a large building. Therefore, prostrate yourselves sincerely and truly before Allah.

O Ahmad, honour comes from the servant of Allah remaining silent with Allah — through taqwa — and fulfilling obligations with truth and excellence. There is no love shown by a servant that Allah does not repay with immense love and mercy. Destruction comes from a hardened heart and a sharp tongue that wounds others. You have not neglected them, but they are the ones who flee, covering their ears and blinding their eyes to the truth.

Truly, in distant lands, people read news of you. Some study and reflect, some regard it as a beautiful tale, some deem it a lie. Yet I see some who strive to understand its truth — and they are not from the Muslim Ummah, but they read with their hearts. Be patient; they will come to you. And you and your followers must remain cautious.

Say to them: ‘Truly, we and Ahmad are nothing but servants of Allah, striving to create harmony and peace in brotherhood, following the character of the Noble Prophet Muhammad — like a single body whose parts protect one another and cannot be separated.’ Read with your hearts what I, Balya bin Malkan, have conveyed to Ahmad.

Truly, Ahmad is Makhfiy.”
