“Surah Al-Isra’ 111: The bodily
journey of the Messenger of Allah in the 11th year of prophethood, and the
earth that split open to swallow the buildings of the sinful people of Sodom.”
Prophet Khidr came to me, then he said:
“O Ahmad, sit down and disregard your pain, for once you have
listened to and written down this message, I shall pray for your recovery.”
“O Ahmad, truly, it will not be long before the month arrives
— the month in which, long ago, the earth and the seven heavens were adorned;
the angels lined up; and the Prophets prepared themselves to welcome the coming
of the noble human being whom Allah created unlike any other, the only one of
his kind among all the most beautiful of creations (the Prophets and
Messengers, and distinct from mankind in general).”
“O Ahmad, indeed, on Monday night, the night leading to
Tuesday, the ‘short journey’ of your Honourable Grandfather Muhammad was
witnessed — a journey so extraordinary that his sorrow was transformed into
immeasurable joy. The 27th of Rajab fell in the year 621 according to the
astronomical calculations of the kings of that era — the 11th year after the
sending of the Noble Prophet Muhammad. Truly, he was alone in his bodily form
when he stood before Allah and spoke in a way that erased his noble sorrow. And
Allah, Exalted and Majestic, preserved that journey in the Qur’an with 111
verses (Surah Al-Isra’). The number ‘1’ signifies the indication that the
Messenger truly experienced it alone before his Lord, and the number ‘11’
signifies that the event occurred in the 11th year of Muhammad’s prophethood.”
“O Ahmad, the hatred of those who despised the Messenger of
Allah increased greatly, until Allah commanded your Honourable Grandfather to
migrate to Yathrib. That time was preserved in the 53rd surah (An-Najm,
revealed regarding the event of Isra’ and Mi'raj) as an explanation of that
noble journey. Allah commanded the migration to Yathrib when your Honourable
Grandfather was 53 years old. Indeed, within these numbers lie signs of Allah’s
greatness and His clear guidance given to the Companions when writing the
Qur'an. Do they not think? Until the scholars of the end times dispute these
events? Lady Saudah was a witness to the event, but she was not permitted to
speak of it except after the passing of the Noble Messenger — as a test for the
believers. Indeed, Lady Saudah, the wife of your Honourable Grandfather
Muhammad, was a woman of large build and tall stature, with fair and beautiful
skin, who always loved the Messenger and constantly made him smile as she
wished for his prayer so that her body might become slender. Yet the Messenger
comforted her with gentle and beautiful words, encouraging her to keep her
appetite for food. Such was the noble character of the Noble One. Let it be an
example for you and for the people of the end times.”
“O Ahmad, nothing occurs except that it is recorded upon His
vast Preserved Tablet, except for the bitter events caused by the negligence of
His servants who transgress all bounds. Truly, corruption has appeared on land
and sea because of their foolishness and blatant disobedience. Has not the
Qur'an long been revealed as a clear guidance? And yet you write down the
warnings I convey to you.”
“Indeed, in your homeland, warnings have already come — even
some of the sea water has risen onto the land. Let the leaders of your homeland
cleanse the shores from the people of Sodom, and let them give attention to the
poor, the needy and the orphans who hunger. Truly, beneath the tall buildings,
the earth cries and prepares itself to receive the command of Allah, Exalted
and Majestic. They will not escape Allah’s wrath — the leaders who transgress
bounds. Will Allah allow them to commit corruption while hiding behind eloquent
speech that conceals their shame? Truly, worldly punishment will not be sent by
Allah except when hypocrites exist, hiding behind garments and positions. They
shall face worldly punishment and the punishment of the Hereafter, remaining
eternally in the blazing Hellfire.”
“O Ahmad, has not the command come to you to return to your
cloak and ascend the hill that Allah has decreed? Let not your illness prevent
you from carrying out His command. Truly, you are but a bearer of news whom
Allah has willed to accompany me — until the message reaches the leaders of
your land, the lands of your companions, and every land where the Ummah of the
Noble Prophet Muhammad resides. Say to them! It does not matter whether they
know you or praise you — it is enough that they use their intellects and hearts
when reading the messages you have written. Are they waiting for the sun and
moon to be veiled in darkness? Do they wish to witness the earth tearing itself
open and bringing down the towering buildings in your land and in the lands of
those who transgress? Ascend and strike your staff once more, until the earth
trembles and the sea surges in your homeland as a warning to your people.”
“Indeed, the day after Monday is the day you are commanded by
Allah to be on that hill. Do not worry for your followers; Allah will soften
the tremors in the homes of your followers. Did Allah not save your followers,
their children and spouses during the previous calamity? Let them be witnesses
to the truth of the messages you convey. Truly, I inform you of their state
before they inform you themselves. Will those who do not know you accuse you of
falsehood after reading the messages you deliver? Truly, I, Balya bin Malkan,
hear the roaring in the heavens — a sign I understand well — that Allah,
Exalted and Majestic, will again present clear proofs. When fire and water
erupt from beneath their feet, will they only then destroy the people of Sodom
within their lands? Say, O Ahmad, that a single flash from the sky will destroy
a tall building, and the earth will open to swallow the structures upon it — as
a warning against the wickedness of the people of Sodom upon their land.”
“O Ahmad, do they think that the disease they claim has no
cure has now overtaken the lands steeped in the corruption of the people of
Sodom? Truly, that land is very near to your land and the land of your
companions. Let them repent and cleanse their land of the people of Sodom. Let
them cure their brothers who suffer from the disease with what you have
practised. Say! Surely Allah will not remove the disease until they believe in
Allah, in the Noble Messenger Muhammad, and in the Qur'an and all that Allah
revealed to your Honourable Grandfather Muhammad. Indeed, within the 1223
verses — the manifest and hidden signs of Allah — lie what you have practised
(ALQ 1223), as proof of Allah’s greatness and His absolute power over all
things.”
“O Ahmad, hasten to the hill, for Allah wishes to show you
once more within my turban, so that your heart may be at ease concerning your
worries. Allah does not leave you in sorrow or hardship except that He wishes
you and me to glorify and praise Him upon that hill.”
“O Ahmad, tonight I witness the rumbling from the west and
east of your land — hasten to stand upon that hill. Truly, storms and rain with
thunder will pass through your homeland. Let them repent and cleanse their land
of the people of Sodom.”
