Healing from HIV by the Will of
Allah, Faith in the Messenger, and a Spiritual Reminder for Arrogant and Greedy
Western Nations
Prophet Khidr (AS) came to me this morning. He sat with me and said:
“O Ahmad, write, and no longer restrain the words that I have wished to convey to you since Thursday night. Did you ask Allah to permit me to be harsh towards you?
Indeed, I once helped a man who was about to be struck by falling rocks from a cliff in the land of Fars. I pulled his hand forcefully until he fell and was injured. He then cursed me and spoke harshly to me, and I left him. Truly, the hidden meaning of that incident is a parable for those who receive stern admonition in the form of advice and guidance to the path of Allah, so that they may be saved from the torment of the grave and the Fire. Yet they feel wronged and hurt by the advice and commands of Allah that I deliver to you firmly and wisely for them.
Do they think that what you teach and the counsel you convey come from your own will and anger? Say to them: I am Balya bin Malkan, who asked you, because Allah wills that they all be among those on the right side on the Day of Reckoning, and that they be saved from the trials of this world and the Hereafter. Do they not reflect?
O Ahmad, let those whose names I have mentioned in your vessel change their nature of seeking rumours about what you are doing with the four structures within your vessel. Indeed, they are like one who sees a skilled carpenter and stonemason demolishing large trees and breaking stones, and he assumes that the carpenter and stonemason are committing destruction and wrongdoing. Yet he does not understand what they will do thereafter. Truly, he will feel ashamed and realise when the timber and stones become beautiful houses in which they may shelter and find protection, remaining safe during storms and tempests, and protected from the scorching sun and rain. Say to your followers: Allah forbids His servants from harbouring ill thoughts. Let them practisetabayyun and be broad-hearted.
O Ahmad, say and write: when a venomous snake is about to bite your foot, and you strike it with a stick to hurl it far away from you, then someone comes to stop you and says, ‘Do not strike the snake with a stick because it is a creation of Allah,’ and then accuses you of cruelty and of violating the command of Allah by oppressing His creation—this is a parable for those who claim to love you and regard you as a father and teacher, yet in their hearts they harbour suspicion towards what you do. Let them understand that nothing can be hidden from the reckoning of Allah.
Do not conceal these words. It is not I who wills this, but Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, who is the Absolute Will. Say to one of those who deceives and humiliates you: do they think they can hide from the wrath of Allah? Truly, the anger of Allah has become evident upon the wrongdoing committed against those who accused you of lying and arrogantly claimed that you had wronged them. They have forgotten that their wealth and trade come from Allah. They raised their heads in arrogance and committed great slander against you based on the lie of a sorcerer. Be patient, and do not raise your hands to prevent the wrath of Allah from reaching them, for I am very near to you when they speak harshly against you.
Your duty is only to elevate the rank of one of them by teaching lawful trade that is pleasing to Allah, and to disregard the other of the two. Be patient. Truly, I, Balya bin Malkan, love you for your patience and steadfastness in facing those who slander you with vile accusations.
O Ahmad, indeed a shepherd who sits beneath a tree enjoying the gentle breeze, then falls asleep and dreams, is foolish, for even a weak sheep may become prey to a hungry wolf. This is a parable for one who trusts reports and temptations that come from an envious person, and for one who thinks with the anger of his desires until his intellect and heart fall into the grasp of Iblis. Such are the traits of the corrupt who attain worldly positions and ranks through tongues filled with lies and deception. They are like those who walk with closed eyes in darkness towards a deep abyss.
O Ahmad, hold fast to an amanah of Allah in your hand and say to them: indeed, 1223 is the right of Allah, which Allah has bestowed upon Ahmad as clear evidence that Allah is the All-Powerful over all things, that the Noble Messenger Muhammad is a mercy to all creation and the Seal of the Prophets, and that the Qur’an is the perfect Book of Allah, a clear guidance and cure, a salvation for all mankind.
Is it not evident that the one who was ill and whom Allah healed was a believer in Allah and in the Noble Messenger Muhammad, who recited the Qur’an, while the world had not yet found a cure? And another was not healed by Allah—one who did not believe in Allah, did not affirm the Messenger, and did not believe in the Qur’an—despite consuming the same 1223 medicine for the same illness. Allah willed healing for the believer who acknowledged his wrongdoing, and Allah afflicted him with that illness (HIV) so that he might repent. Let him truly repent, abandon the deeds of the people of Sodom, and proclaim to the world that it was Allah who healed him through the Qur’an 1223, which Allah permitted to be in the hand of the Hidden One.
O Ahmad, Allah has informed me with the best of tidings: there is no deed more noble and beloved to Allah and His Messenger than the bond of brotherhood among Muslims, until one practises the finest Sunnah of the Noble Prophet Muhammad. The rules that you have established are the Sunnah of your noble grandfather Muhammad. Let these be firm principles within your vessel, so that your descendants and followers may follow your path.
O Ahmad, what you have decreed—that the orphaned children of your companions who have passed away become your responsibility, to care for their welfare, future, and condition so long as their mothers have not remarried—let this be an everlasting decree upon your vessel. Allah will never impoverish one who bears the burden of his brother while he is able to do so.
Hold firmly to the management of the baitul mal upon your vessel, and continue to distinguish between infaq, zakat, and gifts as you have practised with some of your companions. There has been no error in what you have taught your followers. Call the two muftis in your land who are within your vessel this year to determine the time and amount of zakat, so that it aligns with the correct path of the Shariah, as you and your followers have practised. Record it and announce it. It is not considered showing off, for Allah and His Messenger love it.
O Ahmad, have they not heard the tremors and thunder in the heavens, those in the western lands on earth? Yet they still think it is something ordinary. Say, O Ahmad: Allah will not allow the plans of injustice they carry out to persist. They have slandered the leaders of other nations, and it has become clear that they have corrupted several lands of the Prophets through greed and arrogance. Their corruption is evident. The palaces they built in those lands, the strong structures they erected, and the weapons they boast of will not withstand the wrath of Allah that comes from above them and from beneath their feet. They will be struck with clear suffering and destruction
Say, O Ahmad, to the believers in the arrogant and greedy lands, and in the land built upon water, that they should seek refuge in Allah at dawn and establish qiyam al-layl in the middle of the night. At that time, Allah will show His power over their lands.
Go this afternoon and fulfil your obligations in your trade and your affairs with your second wife for three days, until Allah eases your matters on the 25th and the 30th through the sincerity of some of your followers and through those lands. Then take your staff and strike it at the edge of *** on the day ** and the day **.”
